Lacoste Sports Collection

Lacoste has unveiled its Sports Collection for spring/summer 2016. The company says that the collection advocates “kinetic elegance”, whether out on the tennis court or on the pavement.

The Tennis Line is segmented into four collections—a Tennis Sport collection and a Lifestyle collection for men and women, as well as Performance and Training collections for men.

The Tennis Sport collection is technical line that combines style and performance. It offers a large range of products for men and women who play tennis, with a particular mind to details and fabrics, thereby ensuring optimal comfort. The style is streamlined, with interacting lines and piping, while the colors reflect the brand’s DNA, with silver grey, navy, white and green playing off against touches of royal blue and neon yellow.

The Lifestyle collection was conceived with the everyday athlete in mind. It favors modern cuts, strong graphic markings and com- fortable fabrics. This season, new double-faced fabrics, a blurred print and mesh effects liven up the elements of this casual chic wardrobe. The blue, salmon and orange tints come to stimulate the silver grey, black and white.

The Tennis Performance collection caters to sportsmen seeking technical clothing with tangible functionalities. It is comprised of materials specifically selected for their quality and technical nature, such as ultra- dry fabrics or compressing ones.

The thermo-fused markings and the user-friendly stitching prevent friction and allow for a greater freedom of movement. Black, grey, blue and khaki are the dominant tones of this capsule, all of which are galvanized by a new geometric print. The Training products, meanwhile, mix func- tionality with comfort. This line is comprised of essentials, which come in a large color palette.
