Club Limitada hosted an exclusive tasting of Davidoff Especiales 7 at Flair No.5, a luxurious haven in the heart of The Ritz-Carlton, DIFC

The hub of the city’s financial industry is one of Dubai’s most dynamic locations for nightlife and fine dining and so it was to DIFC that Club Limitada made its way recently. The focus of its exclusive evening was to celebrate the new Especiales 7 Robusto Real by Davidoff, a cigar made from seven leaves. The filler comprises five kinds of Dominican leaf that have been aged between seven and 12 years, a binder aged to perfection over 13 years and an Ecuadorian wrapper aged five years. Such an illustrious series of ingredients makes for a perfect smoking experience that can surely only be improved upon by matching it to a perfect pairing of Glenfiddich Project XX, a mix of 20 different maturing malts, and so it was during the VIP evening. Members of Virtuozity’s popular cigar club – the region’s leading club for aficionados – gathered for a convivial evening that saw a perfect blend of conversation and fine flavours. Flair No.5 at The Ritz-Carlton in DIFC is a tropical-themed alcove with a vast spirits selection hand-crafted by green-thumbed mixologists with a focus on floral alchemy; with its chilled lounge beats and verdant garden setting, it is the ideal urban escape.
