Porsche Design iconic Aviator Sunglasses

Porsche Design, the luxury clothing and accessories brand spun out from the famous automaker, recently revealed some striking numbers for its pair of sunglasses, the Porsche Design P’8478 Iconic Aviator Sunglasses.

These specs are the first pair of sunglasses to come from Porsche Design.

According to the brand, the product not only set a new milestone in the area of design, but also in terms of engineering. The sunglasses feature a “revolutionary” interchangeable lens mechanism.

According to Porsche Design, the company has sold more than 6 million pairs of these new specs. The company says that barely any other sunglasses have caught the spirit of the times to such a degree, and that the P’8478 is now a beloved accessory of international celebrities.

Recently, stars such as Khloe Kardashian, Usher, Kim Kardashian, and Blake Lively have been snapped wearing these sun- glasses. Available in four sizes, Porsche Design says that the P’8478 is a classic design for any face shape.

Launched around 10 years after Ferdinand Porsche designed the Porsche 911, Porsche Design was created to take the spirit of the automotive brand beyond cars, and to extend to all aspects of luxury life- style. Designs and created and engineered at the company’s studios in Zell am See, Berlin, and Singapore, and manufactured in Germany, Italy and Switzerland.
