The Secret is Out
Padron has released a new addition to its 1964 Anniversary Series. It’s shorter and thicker than the other cigars in the line, with the new vitola known as the Hermoso.
As with all cigars in this series, the Hermoso is box-pressed and handcrafted with sun grown tobacco aged a minimum of four years, creating a smooth, complex flavour profile. It comes with a 56 ring gauge and a length of four inches.
According to the brand, it’ll come in boxes of 26 cigars, and, as is usual for Padron, will be available with either natural or maduro wrappers.
News of the new cigar actually came back in the winter, when Piloto Cigars, Padron’s parent company, sent some retailers in the United States the cigar to test how well it would be received. After getting good feedback, the brand launched the new cigar as the Hermoso.
The Padrón 1964 Anniversary Series is consistently ranked as one of the world’s top brands. It was introduced in 1994 to commemorate the company’s 30th anniversary.
