From his early breakout performance as Willard in Francis Ford Coppola’s Apocalypse Now (1979) all the way to his absolutely iconic turn as Morpheus in the Wachowskis’ seminal science-fiction film The Matrix (1999), Fishburne’s oeuvre is as acclaimed as it is versatile. But when not offering pasty-skinned hackers a choice between coloured pills, Laurence Fishburne has been known to partake in premium handmade cigars, with a preference for darker blends with a Maduro wrapper and a rich sweetness. He often partakes when he visits New York’s Grand Havana Room, where he is a member.
