Apocalypse When?

Laurence Fishburne inherited his love of cigars from his father.

Anyone who grew up liking movies in the last decade or so is certainly familiar with the work of Laurence Fishburne, although his portfolio stretches much further back than most might think. From his early breakout performance as Willard in Francis Ford Coppola’s Apocalypse Now (1979) all the way to his absolutely iconic turn as Morpheus in the Wachowskis’ seminal science-fiction film The Matrix (1999), Fishburne’s oeuvre is as acclaimed as it is versatile. But when not offering pasty-skinned hackers a choice between coloured pills, Laurence Fishburne has been known to partake in premium handmade cigars, with a preference for darker blends with a Maduro wrapper and a rich sweetness. He often partakes when he visits New York’s Grand Havana Room, where he is a member.
