Atelier Cologne
Orient Collection

In 2009, Sylvie Ganter and Christophe Cervasel founded Atelier Cologne, the first Maison de Parfum creating pure perfumes inspired by eau de Cologne.

Capturing precious moments of their lives between Europe and America, the newly created perfume family, Cologne Absolue, immediately seduced both Eastern and Western worlds with more than 700 000 flacons sold in more than 35 countries to date.

What started as a love story in the Western world has gradually shifted towards the Eastern world, a result of numerous trips taken by the couple to
Asia and the Middle East. They have come to admire and appreciate the cultural differences of these regions, the way of
life, the personal approach to beauty and perfume, so unique from one country to the next, especially in Asia.

Inspired by the regions’ natural beauty, people and customs, and particularly the most precious raw materials, the pair have created five new Colognes Absolue, all of which are a part of Atelier Cologne’s newest collection, Collection Orient.

Sylvie Ganter and Christophe Cervasel expand the range of raw materials used by their Maison de Parfum: incense from Samarkand, cherry blossom from Jinhae, Ceylan black tea, black pepper from Vietnam, indigo mimosa from India.
