Mini Cooper’s Latest Special Edition

Mini has announced the new Mini Seven, a special edition of its three-door and five door Cooper and Cooper S models.

The idea behind the new car is to commemorate the brand’s history with styling cues that hark back to when the original car started production in 1959, when it was known as the Austin Seven.

The new model comes with the standard engine variants, with power ranging from 116 hp to 192 hp for the hot Cooper S model.

However, there are styling touches that won’t be featured on your standard Minis. On the outside, there’s a paint finish called Lapis luxury Blue, roof and exterior mirror caps in Melting Silver, and 17-inch alloy wheels in a special two-tone design.

There are also Mini Seven door sill finishers, side scuttles with a Mini Seven logo, and bonnet stripes in Melting Silver. As an option, you can also get surrounds on the stripes in Malt Brown.

On the inside, there are seats in fabric or leather, interior surfaces in Piano Black, an optional Malt Brown colour line, and the Mini Seven logo on the central instrument surround.

There are obviously plenty of optional extras to choose from, including LED headlights and fog lamps, white direction indicators, automatic air conditioning, and an on-board computer.

Mini will also offer optional driving packages on the Seven, including Mini Driving Modes and the Mini Excitement Package.
